A Non-Containerized Load (NCL), also known as break bulk cargo, refers to shipments that are too large, heavy, or irregularly shaped to fit into standard shipping containers. Unlike containerized cargo, which is loaded and sealed into containers, break bulk cargo is loaded directly onto vessels without containers.
